Learn How to Create Your Viral Marketing Business With Little Or No Startup Capital

Viral marketing is a method for promoting a product on the internet, and you can do this with low costs or, even better, no costs.  If you want to succeed, you must be willing to sit in front of your computer and invest a lot of your time and effort!  Let’s look at some of the best ways to do this.
First of all, get your friends and family involved. Explain to them that this is a valid sales technique that is used on places such as Amazon, and you are not spamming or scamming.  Once they understand what you’re doing, you need to write emails about what you’re selling and send them to everyone you know.  Ask them to forward your emails to everyone THEY know!
Create a website!  There are a lot of webhosts who don’t charge if you use their ads.  If you can afford something low-cost, find one that doesn’t charge too much and lets you be in charge of your own content.
You’ll need artwork and articles for you website.  Barter with your friends to exchange services!  You can ask someone to create graphics or write copy for your website in exchange for free babysitting or a dinner on you.  This way you can develop a lively, interesting website at little or no cost.
Writing about whatever you want to sell is very important.  It’s a way to let people know that you have a lot of knowledge on the subject.  If you establish your credibility, it will boost sales.  You can also insert a link to your sales page, and people will pay more attention because of that credibility.
You can also create a video and post it on YouTube™.  It doesn’t have to be long; in fact, shorter is better.  If you want to see something that traveled like crazy all over the internet, go to YouTube™ and type in Drama Cat.  It’s 22 seconds long, but over 76,000 people have watched it!
Don’t forget places like MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, and other social networking sites.  You can even create multiple sites for yourself and get a dialogue going between your two selves about the benefits of your product.  Get your friends and family to join in!
Tie all of these methods together!  You can insert links to your website and video in your emails.  You can post articles on the topic in ezines and link them back to your website and even to each other.  You can search for blogs that allow you to sign with a link to your website.
Most of this is free or costs only a little.  But many successful viral marketers find a private club to join.  These clubs are hosted by mentors who can coach you on surefire ideas. If you can find the right one, you will pay a little for it, but ultimately you will decide whether it’s worth it.  The price of paying to network with experts and other like-minded individuals might be worth it since it’s going to boost your sales.
You are the one who sets a price on your time, and only you can decide how much it’s worth to you.  Experiment with these ideas and find out which ones work best for you!
